Asian Beef Stew with Fish Sauce
1/2 kg. beef shanks
8 cups of water or beef stock
4 beef bullion (omit if you are using beef stock)
2 onions quartered
2 T. Fish Sauce
salt and pepper to taste
1. In a big pot put beef, water and onion, cook until beef is tender.
2. If using bullion cube add them, if you're using stock omit this step.
3. Add green veggies and let everything simmer for 5 mins.
4. Add fish sauce, then salt and pepper to taste. (At this point you can add more or less fish sauce depending on your preference)
